Primary System Analyst, Officer

What you'll do

• Provide remote management, administration, and support for production Charles River IMS solutions.
• Manage user privileges, parameter configuration changes, and system availability.
• Perform application and database performance tuning for hosted and non-hosted clients.
• Monitor daily operational processing and resolve technical problems.
• Execute software patches and version upgrades for Charles River IMS and databases.
• Assist with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and operations.
• Transition new clients into production operations in coordination with internal colleagues.
• Implement and operate third-party tools to automate and streamline service delivery.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3+ years’ relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading, or related systems like Charles River IMS (preferred).
• Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration, operations, and basic administration functions.
• Experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software, and disaster recovery/business continuity (preferred).
• Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline such as Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Maths, or Statistics (preferred).
