Sustaining and Validation Hardware Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for hardware products following established engineering guidelines.
• Perform parts selection, qualification, FPGA design, and schematic capture for electrical subsystems.
• Develop board floor planning and layout designs focusing on component placement and high-speed signal routing.
• Execute test setups, data analysis, and debugging for analog and digital systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including schematics, test plans, and bills of materials.
• Maintain automation platforms for electrical subsystem validation using test automation scripting.
• Perform sustaining engineering tasks such as root cause analysis and qualifying alternate components.
• Ensure hardware products meet safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must possess solid electrical and electronics engineering knowledge.
• Experience in electrical system testing, validation, and debugging is required.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting, Shell scripting, and writing test scripts is required.
• Skills in test automation and hardware validation workflows are required.
• Strong problem-solving, technical communication, and leadership skills are required.
• Ability to perform schematic capture, parts selection, and FPGA design for electrical subsystems.
