The Supply Chain Systems Analyst (Launch) joins the Supply Chain Operations team to support the launch organization through strategic process and system development. This role focuses on using analytics to provide business-critical insights, ensuring cross-functional alignment between core launch teams and support departments like finance and facilities. You will identify and implement process improvements, conduct in-depth analyses of complex datasets, and develop automated tools to mitigate risk and increase efficiency. Key responsibilities include creating reports and dashboards, partnering with software developers to define requirements, and standardizing data analysis for demand forecasting. The role requires proficiency in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, and VBA. You will solve problems within the launch ecosystem by identifying systematic gaps, training users on system developments, and managing inventory, demand planning, and purchasing workflows to meet ambitious growth targets.
Identify and implement process improvements across the supply chain to ensure best practices are rolled out organization-wide.
Analyze complex datasets using SQL and other tools to identify trends, diagnose issues, and inform supply chain strategy.
Create automated tools, reports, and standardized metrics for operational measurement using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
Develop and maintain Power BI reporting tools while assisting teams with dashboard creation and data integrity.
Build automation solutions to mitigate business risks and increase efficiency within the Launch Supply Chain team.
Partner with software development teams to define requirements, test solutions, and implement system improvements.
Standardize data analysis methodologies to facilitate supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and efficiency roadmaps.
Train users and leaders on new system developments while troubleshooting issues and capturing organizational knowledge.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or mathematics.
2+ years of experience in an operations analyst, business analysis, product management, applications/software development, or ERP systems support role.
1+ years of experience using SQL and/or Python in business analysis, product management, applications/software development, or ERP systems support.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral.
1+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment (preferred).
Familiarity with lean principles, six sigma, Kaizen, process analysis, and design (preferred).
Experience building data visualization dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent (preferred).
