The Senior System Analyst, IT Supply Chain Planning joins the IT Supply Chain Planning team to deliver critical capabilities within Kinaxis Maestro (RapidResponse) and Oracle EBS. This role involves analyzing complex demand and supply planning business problems to develop cost-effective, technology-based solutions. Key responsibilities include creating functional and technical specifications, troubleshooting system bugs, managing test efforts, and providing operational support for daily planning cadence processes. The successful candidate will build solutions using workbook authoring, data models, integrations, and Java-based scripting. Required skills include proficiency in Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse, Oracle PL/SQL, and Microsoft Office products like Excel and Visio. The role addresses technical challenges in semiconductor supply chain processes, including sales and operations planning, inventory optimization, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
Analyze complex demand and supply planning business problems to develop technology-based solutions.
Create functional and technical specifications for systems to meet specific business requirements.
Deliver Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse solutions using workbook authoring, data models, and Java-based scripting.
Troubleshoot complicated system issues and address bugs in internal software or vendor-delivered solutions.
Manage solution testing and documentation for multiple users across the organization.
Support daily planning cadence processes including data collection, BI exports, and automation tasks.
Provide technical expertise to identify and develop cost-effective systems and procedures.
Assist end-users with interpreting results from demand and supply plans and analytics.
What we're looking for
Must have 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
Must have 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.
Must be able to work in San Diego full time, 5 days a week.
Must be able to deliver Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse solutions using workbook authoring, analytics, data models, integrations, and Java-based scripting.
Must be able to create functional and technical specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Must be able to troubleshoot complicated system issues and address bugs in internal or vendor-delivered software.
Functional and business process knowledge of demand and supply planning processes, ideally in the semiconductor industry (preferred).
Level 2 or above Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse Workbook Authoring Certification (preferred).
