What you'll do

  • Design, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
  • Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, physical design, and analog/IO design.
  • Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for high-performance systems.
  • Execute processor, component, and system characterization and validation testing.
  • Develop and test firmware architectures while performing failure analysis.
  • Perform material analysis, characterization, and mechanical modeling for hardware integration.
  • Provide technical support to customers and field engineers for IBM products.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering, science, or physics field is preferred.
  • Candidates should be pursuing or hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
  • Preferred candidates have at least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including C/C++, Python, Java, or other object-oriented languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hardware description languages like VHDL and Verilog is preferred.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
