What you'll do

Design, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, and physical design for microprocessors.
Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for IBM infrastructure components.
Execute processor and system characterization to ensure product quality and performance.
Develop and test firmware architectures while performing failure analysis.
Provide technical support and engineering assistance for customers in the field.
Model and analyze circuit designs using tools like SPICE or CAD software.

What we're looking for

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering, science, or technology field is preferred.
Candidates should be pursuing or hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related majors.
Prior project or internship experience in computer hardware or testing is preferred.
Candidates with at least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products are preferred.
Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Python, Java) and hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog) is preferred.
Experience with circuit simulation tools like SPICE and familiarity with various hardware architectures (FPGA, RISC-V, ARM) are preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
