What you'll do

  • Design, test, and provide customer support for hardware, firmware, and semiconductors.
  • Perform logic (RTL) design, verification, and physical design for microprocessors.
  • Conduct signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis for IBM infrastructure components.
  • Execute processor and system characterization to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Develop and test firmware architectures while performing failure analysis.
  • Provide technical support and engineering assistance for customers in the field.
  • Model and analyze circuit designs using tools like SPICE or CAD software.

What we're looking for

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering, science, or technology field is preferred.
  • Candidates should be pursuing or hold a degree in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related majors.
  • Prior project or internship experience in computer hardware or testing is preferred.
  • Candidates with at least three months of experience designing or manufacturing hardware products are preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Python, Java) and hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog) is preferred.
  • Experience with circuit simulation tools like SPICE and familiarity with various hardware architectures (FPGA, RISC-V, ARM) are preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
