Engineering Systems PTC Windchill SLM Manager

What you'll do

• Architect and lead implementations of PTC Service Lifecycle Management solutions including Windchill SIM and Service Parts Management.
• Design structured authoring environments using PTC Arbortext Editor and Publishing Engine for technical documentation production.
• Define SGML/XML schemas, DTDs, and stylesheets to support content aligned with S1000D, ASD STE100, or ATA iSpec 2200 standards.
• Gather requirements and design future-state architectures to optimize service content workflows for customers and stakeholders.
• Lead integration efforts between PTC SLM/Arbortext and enterprise systems like ERP, PLM, CRM, and Windchill.
• Provide technical direction for content delivery strategies including IETP, web portals, and mobile platforms.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants and developers on PTC SLM and Arbortext best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities by conducting demos, building proofs of concept, and responding to RFIs/RFPs.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of experience in technical solutions architecture.
• Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with PTC Service Lifecycle Management and/or Arbortext.
• Must have 1+ year of experience designing and deploying Windchill SIM environments.
• Must have 1+ year of experience with Arbortext Editor, Arbortext Publishing Engine, and Arbortext Content Manager or Windchill.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent with 12 years of experience) or an Associate degree (with 6 years of experience).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for the role.
• Strong knowledge of XML/SGML, DTD/schema development, and stylesheet customization is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical documentation standards, integration via APIs, and PTC certifications are preferred.
