What you'll do

Supervise, mentor, and train a high-performing team of material handlers and inventory specialists.
Establish standard operating procedures for physical material handling, safety, and system transactions.
Execute a robust cycle count and physical inventory program to maintain over 99% accuracy.
Optimize warehouse slotting by velocity to ensure high-demand parts are in primary pick locations.
Perform root cause analysis on inventory variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Serve as the system super-user for ERP and WMS platforms to ensure real-time data accuracy.
Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
Maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment using 5S methodologies and equipment maintenance protocols.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or materials management in aerospace, defense, or high-volume manufacturing.
1+ years of direct supervisory experience leading warehouse associates, inventory specialists, or material handlers.
Deep understanding of cycle counting methodologies and proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
Ability to be 100% onsite at the Costa Mesa, CA facility.
Strong analytical skills using Excel, SQL, or BI tools to report on inventory metrics and trends.
Knowledge of AS9100 standards, OSHA laws, and 5S, lean manufacturing, or 6-Sigma principles.
