What you'll do

Identify and evaluate subsystem architecture options and building-block alternatives for new vehicle products.
Lead structured trade studies to compare technical solutions based on packaging, performance, cost, mass, and timing.
Translate customer needs into specific subsystem requirements, assumptions, and decision criteria.
Develop recommendation packages that communicate trade-offs, risks, and proposed paths forward to leadership.
Assess subsystem compatibility with overall vehicle architecture, including physical integration and interface impacts.
Support the planning and execution of concept demonstrator builds by coordinating parts and material needs.
Resolve technical issues during demonstrator builds by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Create and maintain engineering analyses and comparison matrices to support program checkpoints and decision gates.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of professional engineering experience in vehicle, subsystem, or product engineering.
Demonstrated experience in vehicle integration, subsystem architecture, or system-level engineering.
Deep experience across the full breadth of a subsystem including requirements, interfaces, packaging, and performance.
Proven ability to conduct structured trade studies and make data-driven recommendations based on cost, mass, and timing.
Strong understanding of engineering theory and principles of mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
