Senior System Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop technical requirements and partition functionality for implementation teams in secure environments.
• Manage information system health through patching, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and document security controls to ensure compliance with government and defense regulations.
• Create self-help tools, user guides, and knowledge articles to improve support processes.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal IT teams.
• Lead triage sessions to identify root causes and resolve systemic technical issues.
• Translate complex challenges into practical, implementable solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor less experienced team members and provide guidance on systems engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience delivering IT systems in a professional or corporate environment.
• Experience gathering requirements and supporting solution design for robust, high-performance systems.
• Expertise in areas such as systems engineering, infrastructure support, server engineering, or security operations.
• Experience developing applications, AI agents, automation, or tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to export control restrictions.
