What you'll do

  • Lead system engineering activities for low voltage (LV) battery management systems from concept through production.
  • Ensure LV battery systems and software comply with national/international regulatory standards and internal requirements.
  • Develop and execute reliability engineering plans, including FMEAs, DVP&Rs, and validation testing.
  • Define and document system requirements, specifications, and interface controls for LV battery systems.
  • Analyze field data and warranty claims to identify performance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide expert guidance on LV battery architecture and performance during design reviews and technical discussions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on automotive battery systems and low voltage applications.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance processes for automotive electrical systems such as ISO 26262 and UN ECE R100.
  • Expertise in reliability engineering principles including FMEA, FTA, and HALT/HASS testing.
  • Strong understanding of battery chemistry, cell technologies, and battery management systems.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on automotive battery systems (preferred).
  • Prior experience launching low voltage battery systems (preferred).
