Lead a systems engineering team to define and manage requirements for AV Platform Software.
Translate product, safety, and cybersecurity goals into implementable and testable software system requirements.
Manage system decomposition, interface definitions, risk mitigation, and validation intent across multiple vehicle platforms.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and maintain alignment on program milestones.
Establish the team roadmap and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Improve engineering efficiency through reusable methods, automation, and AI-enabled tools.
Manage team performance through hiring, coaching, development, and accountability.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
10 or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, embedded systems, vehicle systems, or a related technical field.
Experience leading systems engineering for automotive, autonomous vehicles, advanced driver assistance, robotics, aerospace, or other safety-critical platforms.
Experience managing or leading technical teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and delivery accountability.
Demonstrated experience translating system-level objectives into subsystem/software requirements, interface specifications, and verification criteria.
Experience with requirements management, traceability, system decomposition, risk management, and validation planning.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical risks and recommendations to senior leaders.
Master’s degree in a related engineering field (preferred); experience with ISO 26262 or Automotive SPICE (preferred).
