As a Staff, Software Engineer within the Growth Tech Marketplace organization, you will serve as a technical backbone for the cross-border commerce platform. You will design cross-service architectures for seller onboarding, order orchestration, compliance, and payments infrastructure while establishing reusable patterns across multiple squads. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering.
6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Deep experience designing and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms like Kubernetes or GCP/Azure.
Proven track record of driving technical alignment and building consensus across multiple squads without direct authority.
Working familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace challenges, including seller integrations, order lifecycles, and international compliance.
Experience owning SLOs, leading incident retrospectives, and building observability into system designs.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
