Staff Software Cloud Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, modify, and optimize general computer applications and specialized utility programs to meet user needs.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead cloud migration projects including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex software issues and bugs by integrating information across code modules.
• Perform unit and integration testing to verify the stability and functionality of large features.
• Monitor cloud systems for performance, reliability, and cost while implementing necessary improvements.
• Conduct code reviews on project team submissions to ensure quality and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud technologies and best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
• Experience in developing, modifying, and troubleshooting complex computer applications and specialized utility programs.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Experience leading cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.
• Experience performing code reviews and unit testing to verify the stability and functionality of large features.
• Experience participating in incident management and data recovery planning for cloud-based systems.
• Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud technologies and best practices.
