What you'll do

Lead major initiatives end-to-end by defining designs, identifying stakeholders, and managing project risks.
Coordinate the activities of other engineers and determine specific technical tasks for the team.
Develop and improve tools and automation to manage infrastructure and application configuration as code.
Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures to ensure system stability.
Mentor senior and junior engineers on design principles, best practices, and cloud competencies.
Proactively improve existing structures, processes, and engineering standards for the organization.
Represent the company to external partners, customers, and industry organizations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field of study.
At least 7 years of experience in software development or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience operating distributed applications as part of a Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE team.
At least 2 years of technical leadership experience.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and supporting infrastructure for global-scale services, preferably using AWS.
Proficiency in programming and scripting with Python, Java, Bash, and Go.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
