Staff Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Take end-to-end ownership of feature areas from technical design through implementation and post-launch monitoring.
• Design, build, and ship high-quality, production-ready features focused on correctness, reliability, and performance.
• Deliver high-quality bug fixes and resolve customer-reported issues quickly.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while upholding high engineering standards for the team.
• Architect and deliver large-scale, distributed systems that meet enterprise requirements for security and scalability.
• Drive technical alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders to influence product direction without direct authority.
• Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to scope development and deployment work.

What we're looking for

• Must have 8+ years of software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, distributed systems for enterprise customers.
• Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling at scale.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent JVM/cloud-native languages.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive technical alignment across multiple teams.
• Experience designing systems for enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements like multi-tenancy and RBAC/ABAC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex topics to both engineers and non-engineers.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Experience with identity, access management, or governance (IAM/IGA) products (preferred).
• Familiarity with workflow engines or approval/routing systems (preferred).
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms serving large organizations (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and modern observability tooling (preferred).
