Staff Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for healthcare applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and data validation testing.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle including identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution validation.
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend and data validation.
• Create and manage test cases aligned with user stories in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Analyze requirements to identify testing impacts and determine appropriate regression coverage.
• Utilize test automation tools like Selenium or Power Automate to support testing efforts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, application testing, or a related discipline.
• Experience within the Medicare or Health Insurance domain, including claims, member benefits, payor, and provider processes.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and testing best practices.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, or similar technologies.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for backend and data validation.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile/test management tools.
