What you'll do

Develop and execute technical software development strategies for the Platform Engineering domain.
Lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap to increase product delivery velocity.
Design, build, and maintain high-performance, low-maintenance, and zero-downtime systems and applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to coach the engineering and product community.
Solve complex problems regarding system design, data pipelines, and open-source database platforms.
Influence and educate executives while sharing best practices across various teams.
Analyze costs and forecast requirements to incorporate them into business plans.
Perform on-call and operational support for production environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience.
6+ years of professional experience in software development, platform architecture, and infrastructure management.
4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid data centers.
Advanced knowledge of OOP languages (Java, .NET, Go, Python, C++) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Expertise in complex system design, data pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and open-source databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and tools such as Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, Terraform, or Ansible.
