What you'll do
- Establish the vision, strategy, and governance for end-to-end quality engineering across a product line.
- Oversee all testing operations including planning, execution, impact analysis, and estimation.
- Manage internal and external testing resources while mentoring QA engineers in Agile environments.
- Advance automation capabilities and implement continuous testing practices within the delivery pipeline.
- Manage test data, design test environments, and oversee release readiness planning.
- Act as the primary vendor relationship manager to ensure high-quality and scalable delivery.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to balance quality, delivery speed, and business value.
- Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of IT experience or 9 years of IT experience are required.
- At least 7 years of experience leading quality engineering and testing for complex enterprise applications is required.
- Experience in HP ALM, SQL, SDM, ITIL, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
- Required experience includes test automation, usability testing, impact analysis, estimation, and vendor relationship management.
- Strong skills in test data management, environment design, and infrastructure integration are required.
- Proven experience developing product line test strategies across multiple applications and platforms (preferred).
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or ISEB System Testing Foundation are preferred.
