What you'll do

  • Write software product and functional requirements based on customer needs.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap from initial definition to final release.
  • Perform gap analysis on market demands to provide strategic product recommendations.
  • Define scalable software architecture for IoT applications built on Linux.
  • Define and execute a Linux software upstreaming strategy with the open-source community.
  • Drive a third-party software developer ecosystem to identify opportunities for software reuse.
  • Lead portfolio launch strategies and identify technical marketing and developer opportunities.
  • Deliver technical presentations regarding product roadmaps and proposals to customers and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
  • Define scalable software architecture for IoT applications built on Linux.
  • Expertise in RT kernels, industrial safety protocols, and RTOS (preferred).
  • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or an MBA (preferred).
  • 5+ years of software product management experience managing medium to large scale embedded systems projects (preferred).
  • Expertise in software frameworks and distributions based on Linux, such as Yocto, Ubuntu, RedHat, or Debian (preferred).
  • Experience with open-source development models, business principles, and embedded open-source software technology (preferred).
