Software Engineering Product Manager, IoT / Telematics

What you'll do

• Own product and platform health, including reliability, security, quality, and incident response.
• Lead prioritization for new delivery, operational needs, technology debt, and regulatory obligations.
• Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, financials, capacity, and vendor relationships.
• Promote modern engineering practices like automated testing, CI/CD, and secure delivery.
• Develop and implement application suite roadmaps based on business needs and security considerations.
• Manage risk mitigation controls and provide support for internal and external audits.
• Represent the voice of the customer to business partners for business case development.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of technology professionals.

What we're looking for

• Must be based within a commutable distance to Columbus, Ohio for a hybrid work schedule.
• Requires six years of experience in application suite management.
• Requires four or more years of experience leading numerous teams across multiple technologies.
• Requires a detailed understanding of the systems development life cycle and modern methodologies.
• Requires solid understanding of project delivery, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Requires proven experience in coaching, career development, and building engaged teams.
• Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, math, computer science, or comparable experience (preferred).
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge is a plus (preferred).
