What you'll do

  • Perform advanced numerical modeling and simulation to evaluate the performance and reliability of semiconductor packages and memory devices.

  • Conduct mechanical and thermal modeling of micro-electronic components including interconnects, solder joints, and BGAs.

What we're looking for

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on modeling and simulation experience in the high-tech or semiconductor industry.
  • Proven expertise with simulation tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, and associated pre/post-processing software.
  • Extensive experience in static and dynamic simulations involving linear and nonlinear analyses.
  • In-depth understanding of advanced semiconductor packaging, interconnect structures, and reliability-modeling techniques.
  • Ability to develop scripts for process automation using Python, MATLAB, or ANSYS APDL.
  • Strong technical writing skills to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
