Staff Cyber Integration Labs ISSM joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team as a senior technical leader to support information systems lifecycle activities. The role involves managing cybersecurity programs for assigned systems, conducting system audits, and performing continuous monitoring to enhance security postures. Key responsibilities include assessing networks for deviations from policy, validating security requirements, and driving government policy implementation through process tailoring. The individual will oversee program control processes to mitigate risk, lead formal Security Test and Evaluation activities, and mentor staff while providing guidance on governance documentation. This position requires expertise in RMF compliance, Assessment and Authorization, and technical coordination. The work focuses on maintaining cybersecurity for computer networks at Hill AFB and Vandenberg SFB installations within a classified environment, ensuring all systems meet rigorous security controls and configuration standards.
Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and execute related tasks.
Conduct regular system audits and continuous monitoring activities to improve security posture.
Assess networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, or local requirements.
Analyze and validate security requirements while recommending additional safeguards and process tailoring.
Oversee strict program control processes to mitigate risk and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
Lead formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including preparation, testing, and reporting.
Document A&A results and corrective actions for submission to cognizant authorities.
Mentor and guide cybersecurity staff as a senior technical leader.
What we're looking for
Must have 12 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, 10 years with a Master's, or 8 years with a PhD.
Additional work experience in an appropriate cyber role may be substituted for formal education.
Must meet and maintain U.S. Government DoD 8140 requirements for an Information System Security Manager.
Must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with a closed investigation within the last 6 years or enrollment in CE.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, a master-level certification (CCISO, CISSP, CISM, or GSLC), and 13 years of experience in a classified environment (preferred).
Extensive experience in cybersecurity compliance under RMF and prior experience leading cybersecurity teams (preferred).
