Senior Virtual Design Release Engineer, Electric Power Systems Simulation

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain requirements, use cases, and virtual scenarios for Electric Power systems.
• Track quality, performance, and validation requirements across component, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
• Design and implement simulation solutions using tools like ANSYS, Simulink, Matlab, and other PCB analysis models.
• Perform correlation studies between simulation data and physical test results to conduct root cause analyses.
• Lead design optimization, benchmarking, and trade studies to improve performance and reduce warranty issues.
• Manage virtual development projects and report progress on validation milestones to leadership.
• Execute quality deliverables including virtual test reports, DFMEA, DRBFM, and supplier reviews.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the technical capability build-up within the Electric Power domain.

What we're looking for

• Degree in computer science, chemistry, automation, electronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the automotive or computer aided engineering field.
• Proficiency in Matlab or C++/Python programming.
• Experience using simulation software such as CarSim, Prescan, Saber, Simulink, ANSYS, Sherlock, CFD, FEA, or SPICE.
• Experience with general simulation testing including MIL, SIL, HIL, and VIL.
• Experience with DNG, FMEAs, and high quality requirement development.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems in both familiar and unfamiliar domains.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
