System Engineer, ModSim, Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)

What you'll do

• Red-team designs, models, and analyses across various programs.
• Build models and simulations to prove or break specific technical claims.
• Write and own systems-level requirements for complex defense systems.
• Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts like activity and use case diagrams.
• Perform requirements analysis and system design within a government context.
• Communicate complex results through strong visual presentations of data to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support program management and software engineering teams through systems engineering activities.

What we're looking for

• Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field.
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience across the life cycle.
• Experience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE and understanding of their interfaces and behaviors.
• Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and writing systems-level requirements in a government context.
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, and developing model-based systems engineering artifacts.
• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software like Rhapsody or SparxEA.
• Proficiency with physics-math scripting in MATLAB, Simulink, or Python (preferred).
