What you'll do

  • Lead multi-quarter data platform modernization programs including ingestion, table format migrations, and legacy system deprecation.
  • Drive cross-team execution for large-scale migrations while managing timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple service owners.
  • Build and maintain program dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into progress, costs, and risk factors.
  • Manage the reporting and tracking functions for data infrastructure efficiency in coordination with finance and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs and project statuses clearly to both technical engineers and non-technical senior leadership.
  • Integrate GenAI tools to automate high-toil workflows such as intake triage, status synthesis, and risk tracking.
  • Prototype internal tools and scripts using AI coding assistants to simplify processes and improve data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure all AI-assisted workflows comply with corporate safety, governance, and data privacy policies.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of TPM experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs in data platforms, streaming systems, or infrastructure modernization.
  • Solid understanding of large-scale data platform principles including batch/streaming pipelines, table formats, and workflow orchestrators.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and using data insights to drive decisions and validate savings.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical tradeoffs and program status to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience turning repeatable work into low-toil mechanisms and improving decision-making through GenAI tools and "vibe coding."
  • Safety-by-design AI fluency, including experience with risk assessment, data handling, and validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Experience with data platforms, streaming systems (Kafka, Flink), or open table formats (Iceberg) is preferred.
