What you'll do

  • Lead the digital transformation of manufacturing systems through automation and smart technologies.
  • Implement and integrate MES, SCADA, Industry 4.0 solutions, and other manufacturing IT systems.
  • Develop budgetary cost estimates for the technology scope of capital projects.
  • Create system documentation including user requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with IT and vendor support teams.
  • Ensure system compliance with cGMP, data integrity, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Support system commissioning, qualification, validation, and change control activities.
  • Train users on system functionality and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Doctorate in Engineering and 2 years of Manufacturing Systems/Automation experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of Manufacturing Systems/Automation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of Manufacturing Systems/Automation experience.
  • Advanced degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering (preferred).
  • Knowledge and/or experience of pharmaceutical/biotech processes, especially in inspection or packaging operations (preferred).
  • Extensive understanding of programming, design, installation, validation, and lifecycle management of manufacturing process controls and automation (preferred).
  • Expertise in Databases, Rockwell software platform, and Machine Vision (Cognex) (preferred).
  • Direct experience with Systech Serialization projects and medical devices/combination products (preferred).
