Senior SW Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop test cases, execute tests, and report defects based on functional and business requirements.
• Maintain and develop automated scripts for functional and regression testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage continuous testing and environment setup.
• Participate in design discussions to provide input on product design and identify potential problems.
• Establish quality processes to ensure software meets or exceeds defined quality expectations.
• Perform API level testing using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, and REST Client.
• Execute automation scripts within Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines like Jenkins.
• Ensure all testing activities remain compliant with company policies and audit requirements.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work across teams.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Unit, Acceptance, Performance, Non-functional, Certification test lifecycles, and BDD/TDD methodology.
• Experience testing software at the API level using SOAP UI, Postman, or REST Client.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, and Gherkin.
• Knowledge of functional programming languages like Go Lang, Scala, or Erlang (preferred); experience with distributed systems and payment applications (preferred).
