Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable automated test frameworks and custom tooling using Swift and Python.
• Build and maintain test coverage for API-related workflows and critical integration points.
• Execute regression, functional, and exploratory testing cycles to isolate and document defects.
• Define testability requirements and quality exit criteria with software engineers and product managers.
• Mentor manual QA engineers on automation best practices to elevate team technical capabilities.
• Evaluate and integrate AI/ML-driven testing approaches to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Manage multiple concurrent testing efforts to meet strict release schedules.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and documentation standards across the organization.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of industry experience in software quality assurance or quality engineering roles.
• 3+ years of coding in Swift and/or Python in a professional testing or software development context.
• 2+ years of experience testing API-related workflows, including validating request/response contracts and integration behaviors.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and established QA processes.
• Demonstrated ability to detect, isolate, and regression-test defects across complex, customer-facing software applications.
• Familiarity with video technologies, codecs, or media processing pipelines (preferred).
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end automation frameworks in both Swift and Python within a CI/CD environment (preferred).
