As a Sr. SW Engineer within the Technology Organization, you will join a multi-functional development team to invent, develop, and operate software products and services. You will solve complex problems involving distributed systems, new payment flows, cyber security, and B2C platforms to manage critical risk programs at scale.

What you'll do

Gather and refine requirements with product owners and tech leads to create and execute project roadmaps.
Contribute to the enterprise-wide risk platform by managing the full lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
Participate in design and architecture creation, project planning, and reviews of code and user experience.
Maintain end-to-end ownership of features including coding, test automation, observability, reliability, and deployment.
Respond to incidents during on-call rotations and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Integrate GenAI and agents into daily SDLC and DevOps activities to improve delivery cycle time and quality.
Propose and implement improvements for product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Must have experience developing web-based applications.
Must have experience in one or more high-level programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Golang.
Must have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
Must have experience using GenAI, copilots, and agentic software to improve SDLC agility, quality, and security.
Ability to provide technical leadership to other engineers to ensure sound engineering decisions (preferred).
Proven experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale, fault-tolerant microservices in cloud-native environments (preferred).
Proficiency in REST/GraphQL/gRPC API design, event-driven architectures, and message queues (preferred).
