Senior Specialist, DMSMS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources) Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead complex obsolescence management initiatives and develop strategic mitigation approaches for multiple programs.
• Serve as the technical lead to manage resources and priorities across concurrent engineering projects.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers and stakeholders during program and design reviews.
• Execute system integration and testing activities to validate performance across various platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed DMS reporting and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Develop proactive DMSMS strategies and roadmaps to ensure long-term program sustainability.
• Mentor junior engineers in systems engineering principles and DMSMS practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of organizational systems engineering processes and obsolescence management tools.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret or higher).
• Proven experience in DMSMS management, obsolescence mitigation, systems engineering, or project management (preferred).
• Expert knowledge of DMSMS principles, industry standards, government standards, and best practices for mitigating obsolescence risks (preferred).
• Expert proficiency in using DMSMS management tools, databases, and software applications such as IHS Markit, Silicon Expert, or GIDEP (preferred).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences (preferred).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities (preferred).
