Sr Specialist, Systems Engineer joins the Spectrum Superiority team to support multiple programs with a heavy emphasis on systems integration and test. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of complex systems from conceptual development through phase-out. Key responsibilities include performing requirements analysis and management, developing technical specifications, creating interface control documents, and executing test plans for hardware, software, and networked components. The engineer ensures traceability between verification matrices and original customer requirements while overseeing design reviews and vendor subcontracts. Preferred skills include experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, system security testing, and proficiency with tools like DOORS or Jama. The role addresses technical challenges within the domains of Communications, Open Systems Architecture, Satellite Communications, and Electronic Warfare systems to ensure performance meets strict specifications in a multi-functional engineering environment.
Manage customer and derived requirements by decomposing them into functional areas and ensuring full traceability to verification matrices.
Develop technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans, and procedures for complex systems.
Plan and execute systems integration activities to verify hardware, software, and networked components.
Create and execute test strategies to ensure system performance meets defined requirements.
Lead or support design reviews and provide oversight during the product development lifecycle.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience.
Must currently hold a DoD security clearance.
Experience in system level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for specific communication or electronic warfare systems (preferred).
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (preferred).
Experience with system integration, test, and verification in complex environments (preferred).
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama (preferred).
Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures (preferred).
