We are seeking a Senior Technical Contributor for Charles River’s Front Office Order and Execution Management Systems (OEMS) team. This role involves driving technical excellence in architecting and developing enterprise and cloud-native applications, collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to solve complex problems, and providing thought leadership in product architecture. The candidate will design and develop high-performing transactional database-intensive applications using Java, C#, React, SQL, JavaScript, and other related technologies while adhering to CRD’s agile scrum methodology. Key responsibilities include conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to customer documentation processes. Ideal candidates have at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years in Java development for highly concurrent systems, and expertise in cloud-native platforms like Microsoft Azure, Spring Boot Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and various databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, and Cosmos DB. Experience in financial services domain solutions is a strong plus.
