What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least five years of applied software development experience.
Proficiency in backend development using Java with Spring Boot and/or Node.js to build microservices-based applications.
Proficiency in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular (preferred).
Experience leading responsible adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, testing, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience building distributed systems, web services (REST APIs, WebSockets, JSON), and scalable applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of CI/CD, agile delivery models, and secure engineering practices; experience in the banking domain or with Mainframe (preferred).
