Senior RF Ground Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide RF technical oversight for integrated ground station products, gateways, and telemetry systems.
• Develop RF architecture, specifications, requirements, and designs for parabolic LEO tracking and Gateway Terminal systems.
• Lead the development of qualification, verification, and validation plans for remote ground products.
• Create gateway monitoring and control methodologies, including operational and fault management plans.
• Perform root cause analysis and anomaly resolution on complex system issues.
• Conduct in-depth design reviews and prepare all necessary technical documentation and artifacts.
• Analyze operational faults and performance metrics to identify trends in system behavior.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of system engineering experience in development and delivery of satellite communications systems.
• RF systems experience, preferably with ground tracking antennas and systems (preferred).
• Experience in RF product design, and/or integration and test as related to antenna systems and their associated ancillary equipment.
• In-depth understanding of satellite communications link budgets.
• Experience supporting Systems Engineering of ground systems development efforts including meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
