As a Sensor & Robotics Test Engineer, you will join the Ground Systems Integration and test team to support the architecture and installation of Leo's Ground and TT&C Gateways. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing data-driven analysis, and developing automated tests to improve site build defect discovery. You will validate supplier product updates and lead operational readiness test programs. Required skills include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, experience with RF and Network test equipment for SATCOM communications, and automated test deployment. Preferred technical proficiencies include Vector Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, and Grafana for Ka-band satellite ground station equipment.

What you'll do

Lead the development, integration, and build operations of ground gateway antenna and terminal test systems.
Troubleshoot system issues and perform data-driven analysis to recommend improvements and corrective actions.
Develop optimized field deployment integration and operational readiness test programs.
Create automated tests to improve site build defect discovery and correction.
Identify and execute design corrective actions to reduce site build defects and improve automation.
Validate supplier product updates relative to site deployment using gateway terminal test systems.
Communicate regularly on project status, risks, and change control.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
4+ years in integration and test and/or product verification and validation roles.
2+ years using RF and Network test equipment associated with SATCOM communications.
2+ years in development and deployment of automated tests.
U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Experience in development, integration, and commissioning of MEO or LEO satellite communication systems (preferred).
Experience with communication system test equipment such as Vector Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators, Power Supplies, and Oscilloscopes (preferred).
Export control laws and regulations, candidates.
