Senior Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications.
• Create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects while collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior quality engineers on testing best practices and quality assurance standards.
• Analyze test data and generate quality metrics to provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure quality throughout the software lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Karate and/or Playright preferred).
• Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies.
• High speed internet over 10 Mbps at home.
