Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst

What you'll do

• Perform root-cause troubleshooting and behavior assessments of C2BMC software across development, ground tests, and operations.
• Use automated tools and manual techniques to analyze software capabilities in an integrated environment.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to define analytical approaches and support anomaly resolution.
• Produce analytical reports on complex systems, algorithms, performance, and functionality.
• Use MATLAB, Python, or comparable languages for prototyping, data visualization, and scripting.
• Utilize spreadsheets, databases, and Linux command-line tools for hands-on data analysis and verification.
• Apply statistical methods and time-series analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Create analytical tools and parsers using Bash, Java, or Python.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8 years of experience, a Master’s with 6 years, or 12 years of experience without a degree.
• Must possess a current, active, in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Proven experience producing analytical reports on complex systems and algorithms regarding performance, behavior, and functionality.
• Ability to use MATLAB or Python for prototyping, data visualization, scripting, data manipulation, and parsing.
• Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and Linux command-line tools for hands-on data analysis and verification.
• Experience with statistical methods, time-series analysis, and data visualization to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Knowledge of systems and software engineering processes, principles, and lifecycles.
• Background in missile defense battle management, IR/RF sensor tracking, or command-and-control systems (preferred).
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments using JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
• Experience with object-oriented programming, SQL, regular expressions, and Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Ability to interpret and comprehend Java, C, or C++ code (preferred).
