Senior Principal Software Development Analyst, TS Analyst Lead

What you'll do

• Coordinate Track Server analysis and behavior for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause troubleshooting and behavior assessments of C2BMC Track Server software.
• Use automated tools and manual techniques to analyze software capabilities in integrated environments.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to define analytical approaches and resolve anomalies.
• Produce analytical reports on complex system performance, behavior, and functionality.
• Use MATLAB, Python, or similar languages for prototyping, data visualization, and scripting.
• Utilize Linux command-line tools, databases, and spreadsheets for hands-on data verification.
• Apply statistical methods and time-series analysis to identify system trends and patterns.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience.
• Must possess a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have proven experience producing analytical reports on complex systems and algorithms regarding performance, behavior, and functionality.
• Must be able to use MATLAB or a comparable language like Python for prototyping, data visualization, scripting, and data manipulation.
• Must be able to use spreadsheets, databases, and Linux command-line tools for hands-on data analysis and verification.
• Must have experience with statistical methods, time-series analysis, and data visualization to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Must understand systems and software engineering processes, principles, and lifecycles.
• Background in missile defense battle management, IR/RF sensor tracking, or command and control systems (preferred).
• Strong math/physics background in probability, statistics, linear algebra, and spatial/timing reference frames (preferred).
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments utilizing JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
• Experience with object-oriented coding, SQL queries, regular expressions, and Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand Java, C, or C++ code (preferred).
