Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain analysis tools using object-oriented programming to support program and customer requirements.
• Analyze real-world data regarding Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness to identify performance trends and system behaviors.
• Perform performance characterization of large-scale simulations involving ballistic missile threats and command-and-control architectures.
• Use MATLAB and Python to process, visualize, and interpret complex datasets and simulation results.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable feedback for software and systems teams.
• Communicate technical analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences in a concise manner.
• Execute data analysis, tool execution, and integration activities within a Linux environment.
• Participate as an active member of an Agile Scrum team to complete features and stories aligned with program goals.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must have a current, active, in-scope Government-issued Top Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience are acceptable.
• Experience developing analysis tools using object-oriented programming such as Python or MATLAB is required.
• Experience in performance analysis and characterization of large-scale complex simulations involving ballistic missile threats, weapon systems, and command and control architecture is required.
• Basic knowledge of Linux for data analysis, tool execution, and scripting is required.
• Knowledge of ballistic or non-ballastic missile defense concepts, including BM/C2 systems and the Missile Defense System, is required.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD frameworks, or specific MDS elements is preferred.
