The Sr Operations Program Manager, Amazon Leo Customer Terminals joins the aviation technology integration team to drive critical aviation hardware development programs from concept to production. In this role, you will orchestrate complex manufacturing processes, optimize product lifecycles, and manage assembly yields to ensure the seamless delivery of innovative customer terminal products. Your daily responsibilities include driving manufacturing readiness, managing complex program budgets, and leading cross-functional initiatives involving Manufacturing engineering, Hardware R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. You will utilize skills in program and project management, analytical problem-solving, and Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles. This position focuses on the technical challenge of establishing production lines and qualifying aviation assembly technologies to support a low Earth orbit satellite constellation for global broadband access.

What you'll do

Drive manufacturing readiness across all development phases and own critical operations milestones.
Optimize factory execution and yield management to meet product launch timelines.
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving manufacturing engineering, hardware R&D, quality, and supply chain teams.
Manage complex program budgets and implement strategic cost optimization strategies.
Coordinate production line establishment, qualification, and continuous improvement processes.
Navigate the hardware development journey from initial concept to full production.
Ensure aviation products meet high standards of quality, performance, and schedule.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
Experience in new hardware product development.
Experience in program and project management fundamentals.
Experience leading large projects through the full product development life cycle in a large, cross-functional team.
Experience including strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in technical support.
Master's degree in a related technical field (preferred).
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates.
