The Sr. Program Manager-Network and Security, Amazon Leo, Global Service Compliance joins the Global Service Compliance team to manage complex compliance programs for a low Earth Orbit satellite constellation providing broadband connectivity. You will develop comprehensive strategies, define measurable KPIs, and create scalable mechanisms to monitor performance while navigating global regulatory landscapes. Responsibilities include owning roadmap prioritization, managing internal coordination, and creating knowledge artifacts. You must utilize data and metrics to drive improvements, leveraging tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Tableau, or Power BI. The position requires deep subject matter expertise in communications service compliance to ensure the project meets statutory obligations and license commitments.
Develop and implement compliance workstream strategies for Network Outage Reporting, IP/DNS Blocking, Traffic Routing, and Security Reporting.
Define workstream scope, establish measurable KPIs, and create mechanisms to monitor compliance performance and efficiency.
Manage ongoing prioritization, resourcing, and development of compliance strategies while monitoring the global regulatory landscape.
Design and maintain a roadmap and mechanism structure to ensure global scalability through automation and foundational frameworks.
Serve as the subject matter expert and central point of contact to unblock deliverables for internal and cross-functional stakeholders.
Create and maintain knowledge artifacts and manage administrative functions including workspace access and personnel onboarding.
Report program status, risks, and successes to both internal and external leadership audiences.
What we're looking for
5+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Foundational telecom network experience.
2+ years of driving process improvements experience (preferred).
Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field (preferred).
Experience implementing scalable compliance solutions in a regulated environment (preferred).
Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, or other data analytics and visualization solutions like Tableau or Power BI (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum due to export control laws.
