Senior Mobility Terminal System Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop mobile terminal architecture by collaborating with multi-disciplinary sub-system engineering teams.
• Perform RF and performance simulations to support technical trade-off decisions for terminal designs.
• Build and maintain a mobility lab to validate aviation, maritime, and automotive terminals.
• Manage the integration of hardware, software, and firmware components into the system architecture.
• Ensure all products meet technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business requirements.
• Conduct in-field and on-orbit validation tests with satellites to verify system performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in satellite terminal development, integration, and validation.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware design and validation of components and subsystems.
• Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
• Strong understanding of communication systems, RF, and phased array antennas.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++.
• Familiarity with test instruments including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and various signal/network emulators.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum for export control compliance.
