As a Sr. Mobility Terminal System Engineer on the Leo Customer Terminal team at Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC, you will collaborate with electrical, hardware, RF, antenna, silicon, and product design engineers to architect, integrate, and validate mobility terminals for aviation, maritime, and automotive customers. Your daily tasks include developing mobile terminal architecture by working closely with sub-system engineers across various disciplines, designing tradeoffs of terminal architectures through simulations, and setting up the mobility lab for validation both in laboratory settings and with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. You will also engage proactively with internal and external partners on hardware and software architectures and ensure that all delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business requirements. The role requires expertise in satellite terminal development, integration, and validation, as well as strong knowledge of communication systems, RF, phased array antenna, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++.
