What you'll do

Develop on-device software to improve the speed and reliability of customer internet connections.
Build tools for customers and support teams to detect and resolve issues independently.
Deliver reliable device health and diagnostics data from the fleet to engineering teams.
Own features end-to-end including design, implementation, testing, code review, and deployment on live hardware.
Debug complex issues spanning hardware, software, and cloud systems for a large production fleet.
Write high-quality, maintainable code for embedded devices operating in remote locations with intermittent connectivity.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience focusing on patterns, reliability, and scaling.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, Rust, C, Java, or Python.
Experience building software for embedded devices, networked systems, or intermittently connected devices (preferred).
