Senior Manager, Systems Engineering - Integration Systems & Encryption Division Functional Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead cross-discipline engineering teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities and improve technical performance across a portfolio of programs.
• Manage functional execution for scope, schedule, budget, and technical quality across projects and proposals.
• Implement an integrated operating model with clear role ownership, decision rights, and accountability.
• Establish repeatable engineering processes, common tools, and shared metrics to ensure segment-wide interoperability.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruiting, performance management, and the development of high-performing teams.
• Enforce disciplined engineering rigor and verification practices to reduce rework and improve first-time-right execution.
• Enable Agile delivery and rapid prototyping while maintaining strict safety and mission assurance standards.
• Partner with Program Management and Chief Engineers on proposal activities, cost estimates, and manpower planning.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, a graduate degree with 10 years, or 16 years of experience without a degree.
• At least 5 years of management and cross-functional leadership experience, including leading experienced professionals or leaders of leaders.
• At least 5 years of experience driving execution across multi-discipline engineering teams in a matrixed environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with workforce planning, staffing strategy, recruiting, and talent development.
• At least 3 years of experience with EVMS/CAM responsibilities and proposal development including BOE generation.
• At least 5 years of experience with program execution frameworks, schedule/cost performance, and risk-driven technical planning.
• Active Secret clearance required.
