Sr. Managers, Software Development will join the project engineering organization to build out a solutions enablement platform while delivering a strategic project vision. The technical environment includes Java, Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, AWS Glue, S3, BigQuery, Redshift, EMR, Dataproc, EKS, GKE, Apache Hive, Hudi, Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, Cloudability, and various AWS and GCP foundation services. This role solves the challenge of modernizing infrastructure to provide scalable, high-value business solutions.

What you'll do

  • Build and lead a team supporting the development of the solutions enablement platform organization.
  • Deliver a strategic project vision by partnering with stakeholders across multiple global business units.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to develop customer-focused strategies and roadmaps.
  • Lead the modernization of project delivery using public cloud platforms, DevSecOps models, and new technologies.
  • Migrate applications and platforms to scalable, modern architectures leveraging public cloud infrastructure.
  • Map capability needs from market areas to existing or new architectural patterns and standards.
  • Manage teams of technology leaders and engineers to build critical platform capabilities and business applications.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in software development is required.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Microservices is required.
  • Experience with cloud technologies including AWS (S3, Glue, EMR) and GCP (BigQuery, Dataproc) is required.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like EKS, GKE, and Kubernetes is required.
  • Proficiency in data processing and storage technologies such as Apache Hive, Hudi, and Redshift is required.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and HashiCorp Vault is required.
  • Knowledge of cloud platform services including Cloudability and AWS Parallel Cluster is required.
