JOB TITLE: Manager, Software Development The Manager, Software Development joins the engineering team to oversee the full software development life cycle. This role involves creating and analyzing software specifications, researching, designing, documenting, modifying, and supporting software applications. Key responsibilities include collecting requirements from customer requests, debugging, testing, and deploying applications while collaborating with Business Operation and Product teams. The position requires implementing third-party solutions and training users on new applications. Candidates must possess hands-on experience with C/C++/C#, MS SQL server, and the Microsoft .NET Framework. Technical skills include Restful web services using NodeJS, Apache, or C#, as well as SQL and NoSQL database design. Preferred competencies include JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS, and experience with incident management and web development methodologies to solve complex technical problems.

What you'll do

Collect requirements directly from customer requests.
Design, develop, debug, document, test, and deploy software applications.
Create and analyze detailed software specifications.
Train users on the operation and maintenance of new applications.
Implement third-party solutions and coordinate with procurement on contracts and support.
Provide software solutions that minimize defects, downtime, and performance degradation.
Research and modify software throughout the entire development life cycle.

What we're looking for

Strong hands-on software development experience in C/C++/C#, MS SQL server, or similar.
Experience with Restful web services using NodeJS, Apache, or C#.
Proficiency with Microsoft .NET Framework.
2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
Experience in SQL and NoSQL database design and development.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills (preferred).
Experience contributing to incident management and operational problem resolution (preferred).
Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular and/or ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS (preferred).
