Senior Manager of Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end development, enhancement, and maintenance of the market data platform.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver innovative solutions for functional requirements.
• Identify, prioritize, and allocate tasks to meet the firm's technology objectives.
• Architect and develop data ETL processes and data objects.
• Build, mentor, and manage a team of software developers and testers.
• Plan and run agile-scrum sprints.
• Enforce high-quality coding standards through code reviews and thorough unit testing.
• Provide technical support during UAT and post-go-live phases.

What we're looking for

• 12-14 years of experience in software development.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer, Electronic, or IT Engineering.
• Recent experience in leading and mentoring a scrum team.
• Proficient in Python, Django, Pandas, GitHub/Bit-Bucket, Jira, PostgreSQL, and SQL scripting.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing high-scale data projects.
• Clear understanding of OOPs and software design constructs implemented using Python.
• Expertise in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, especially Agile Scrum.
• Exposure to financial capital markets data and trading applications.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and NoSQL (preferred).
• Understanding of R (preferred).
