What you'll do

Provide direction, oversight, and technical coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers.
Manage team resources, budgets, tactical operations, and the implementation of engineering processes and procedures.
Scale operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
Establish measurable expectations for throughput, defect reduction, and reliability across multiple technical teams.
Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchains and AI-assisted development to drive efficiency and capacity unlock initiatives.
Identify and mitigate issues to execute a book of work while escalating risks as necessary.
Provide leadership with input on budget, technical approach, and operational efficiencies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and delivery tools.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security implications.
Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
In-depth knowledge of the services industry and their IT systems.
Practical cloud native experience and experience working at the code level.
Experience building data-driven products, ML frameworks, RAG pipelines, or AWS infrastructure (preferred).
