Senior Manager of Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Provide direction, oversight, and coaching to multiple engineering teams delivering internal funding and NII solutions.
• Manage accountability for team resources, budgets, tactical operations, and process execution across multiple pipelines.
• Scale operating practices for AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Manage platform strategy and modernization focusing on cloud-first, data-first, and AI-enabled automation.
• Champion engineering best practices for big data processing, microservices, API design, and CI/CD.
• Manage finance-grade controls including data lineage, reconciliations, and validations to meet accounting standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the book of work while driving proactive remediation plans.
• Ensure successful collaboration with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and SRE stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
• Experience leading multiple teams to achieve goals aligned with strategic initiatives and regulatory timelines.
• Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and defining governance.
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring engineering talent.
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting concepts related to internal funding and Net Interest Income.
• Practical cloud-native experience in AWS and proficiency with Databricks/Spark, Python, and Java.
• Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with expertise in APIs, data, and platform engineering.
